'Marigold' is an original artwork by Allison M. Low created in graphite, gouache and pastel that the artist has created inspired by two paintings by Frida Kalho, one called 'Child with Death Mask' and one which has not yet been located.
Allison has written about what inspired her to create this piece.
"In joining together the subject matter from each artwork, I wanted to create one piece which celebrates Frida Kalho's unyielding strength and triumph over hardship; with this work I say thank you for all the lessons she’s taught me."
