'Impulzus018' is an original artwork by DAGOR, one of Venezuela's most prominent street artist and a leading representative of 'Muralism'.
Fabian Solymar DAGOR was born in Caracas, Venezuela, to a Hungarian father and a Venezuelan mother and has dedicated himself to drawing and painting from the age of 12 starting with Graffiti and later developing a very personal style with which he intervenes streets with large fonts under the sonorous and striking signature of DAGOR. Over time he has established himself as a leading figure in Muralism based on the geometric abstraction of fonts research that emerged in mid-2010.
Alongside his graffiti interventions outdoors, he also carried out graphic arts and screen printing workshops in the Museum of Print and Design Carlos Cruz Ten, working as a teacher's assistant serigraph printing, graphic design courses and develops a career as a documentalist photographer, following his family's 140 year old photography tradition established by his Hungarian ancestors.
With this broad artistic practice, DAGOR has been expanding his career as an artist since 1999 and is now recognised as one of the most important street artists in Venezuela and beyond. Since then he has been active and participated in festivals of Muralism such as Meeting Of Style in Ecuador Wynwood and Art Basel festivals in Florida, United States, Live paintings Shows, Murals in London and other European cities, as well as collectives in Venezuela, Mexico, and Colombia.
In addition to solo exhibitions in galleries and museums in Venezuela, DAGOR has carried out numerous murals in Caracas, Barinas, Miami, Brooklyn, Quito and recently in Ciudad de Mexico in a project with the UN at the Gallery largest outdoor murals in the world. He was awarded second prize in fall 2016 and the two first prizes in summer 2016 and 2017 of the Wynwood Curators Voice Art Festival Projects, Miami. Lives and works in Caracas.
