James McMillen
Originally from Cronulla Beach NSW, James McMillan relocated to Byron late 2005 via the back hills of Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads. James' paintings usually combine multi layers of acrylics, spray-paint and ink, juxtaposing them with his own unique font and some finer detailed, sometimes surreal, subject matter.
James has completed several projects including his book and short film, both called Blue Yonder, numerous zines, has exhibited paintings in Byron Bay, Sydney, New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, and continues as the creative director of Byron Bay Surf Festival.
