Hilary Herrmann

Hilary Herrmann’s works combine figures, creatures and visual references often reflecting a wide-ranging curiosity and reference. A diverse range of sources that include fragments and abstractions from world mythologies, the kabbalah, poetry, novels, current affairs and personal memory. She graduated with a Visual Arts Degree from Southern Cross University in 2003 and went on to complete a Diploma of Fine Arts in 2008. She has made the Directors cut of the Blake Prize in 2010 and has been a finalist in the Lismore Regional Galleries Portrait Prize 2011, the Portia Geach and the Border Art Prize.
